Introducing networking with SAWomEng@network

Building up a network is important for any person or business. Networking involves forming and maintaining a strong circle of contacts – it’s all about relationships! There is no better time than the present to start strengthening your network!

Over the last five years, SAWomEng has been building successful networks. We have established the connection with high school students through GirlEng, and have guided female engineering university students on the SAWomEng conference into the engineering industry. It is time to take these women beyond university and provide a platform for women in the engineering industry to network!

This is where SAWomEng@network fits into the SAWomEng pipeline!

SAWomEng@network is a platform for young female engineering graduates to network, and focuses on career development, through national networking workshops.  These networking workshops are an ideal opportunity to network with female engineers in the 1-5 year working experience category.

Under this program, SAWomEng also plans to host a premium function for in the form of a Cocktail Networking Function and Engineering Expo. The purpose of this event is two-fold: marketing and networking. 

In building up to the SAWomEng@network events, we will provide the necessary tools (via emails and our interactive website) to network effectively as well as allowing past SAWomEng delegates to keep in touch with each other. The SAWomEng website offers an interactive way to stay connected and promotes social networking. Also, by signing up to our database you will also be kept informed about all our exciting upcoming events. Using these platforms we will also showcase various opportunities such as top jobs, exciting opportunities and mentorship opportunities.
